PRE-GAME SHOWS

In the NHL, going through any round of the playoffs is uncertain. As the finals approach, expectations rise and every element counts in tipping the balance of the game. Home-ice advantage is one such element, and the pre-game show can help energize and inspire the fans to become the seventh player.

​TKNL has committed to creating such an opening show for different NHL teams' playoff run. The challenge, both technical and creative, was daunting. Installation and operation had to be streamlined in order to update shows from round to round, sometimes with only hours between events.

The result? A flawless, tailor-made event built in time for the playoffs, with updatable modules for advancement through each round, a customized point-and-shoot projection system designed and controlled for fast setup and precise delivery, as well as projections across the entire ice surface integrated with the scoreboard and the LED video ring inside the arena.
