Designing and deploying a public address and sound system in the heart of a building that can accommodate more than 10,000 spectators is a daunting challenge, especially when the amphitheatre is designed to present both sporting and cultural events.
A perfect experience for all spectators in any event configuration was called for so TKNL assembled a their A-team to create a high-tech solution.
Concrete arenas are known for added complexity in terms of acoustics, so TKNL focused on creating a distributed sound system that allows for very precise tuning.
For hardware, a Nexo system was selected for its exceptional qualities in terms of intelligibility and tonal range. This allows each person in the audience to clearly hear announcements and comments made in the very high level of ambient noise generated during a game.
The result is a very uniform sound coverage with a sound quality far beyond the ordinary. At the Place Bell, every visitor receives the same experience, no matter the seat.
In addition to the sound, TKNL was commissioned to create a digital signage system throughout the public spaces of the Complex. Our solution offers unparalleled flexibility as it is based entirely on a cutting edge network infrastructure allowing for amazingly flexible configuration options of signal distribution and support.
