An area of transition between shows played in each of the Planétarium’s two amphitheaters, EXO studies the many different ways in which we research extraterrestrial life, such as scanning the cosmos to find inhabitable exoplanets or probing the Martian soil in the hopes of finding fossilized traces of life.

TKNL was commissioned for the realization, scripting, design, and programmation of the exhibition multimedia productions.

Made up of interactive interfaces that form a moving, immersive decor of animated images, EXO has the visitor float through space, and navigate among myriad shining stars, to the sound of a mesmerizing soundtrack, with its subdued atmosphere reminiscent of outer space.

Digital touchscreens propped up on large steles serve as a dynamic documentation centre linked to rich interactive content while other interactive digital screens give access to other levels of information through gameplay.
