The formal delivery of the very first of thirty Airbus A220 passenger aircraft to Swiss International Air Lines was such an occasion. TKNL wrote a story to celebrate the new alliance of Airbus and Swiss Air highlighting the innovation and excellence of all those who made the aircraft a reality.

TKNL told the story using complex projection mapping augmented by an array of lighting and sound. It allowed our audience to witness the evolution of this aircraft, from concept through execution, in a seamless and poetic contemplation of the joy of flight and the marvels of modern engineering.

The story inspired an audience of representatives from Swiss International Air Lines, Airbus employees, aerospace industry leaders, and international press representatives.

This amazing achievement resulted from a great team effort and was rewarded with the "Best Audio Visual Design for an Event" award at the 2017 Canadian Event Awards Gala.
